Kikker Daddy Legacy is set to make their official debut performance at the Country Music Association of Texas Awards Show on October 18, 2023.

The CMA of Texas Awards will also be honoring the legacy of the late Country Roland with the presentation of the Hispanic Heritage Lifetime Achievement Award. This prestigious award will highlight the incredible contributions that his music left on the community and celebrate him as the founder of “Tejano Country Music”.

The band’s name is a tribute to the beloved Country Roland himself and is led by his daughters and grandson who are committed to keeping his music alive and cherished.

Kikker Daddy Legacy released their debut album, “Tribute to the Legend” in 2020 which features hit songs “La Adelita”, “Hace Un Año”, and “Linda Mujer”. It is currently available across all streaming platforms.

Country Roland was renowned for his distinctive country Tex-Mex style that perfectly captured the essence of traditional honky-tonk and the Tejano experience in South Texas.

Kikker Daddy Legacy is based out of Mission, Texas, and consists of Rene Gonzalez Jr. on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Aurora Gore Hernandez on vocals and tambourine, Judy Garcia on vocals and bass guitar, Eddie Saenz on lead guitar, Frank Sanchez on drums, and Jason Ellsworth on fiddle.

The band recently signed with CHR Records based out of Harlingen, Texas and is now under the production of CEO Rick Garcia. They are currently working on a new album with the first single expected to be released in November of this year.

With their passion for music and commitment to family, Kikker Daddy Legacy is a band that truly embodies the spirit of Country Roland and the values that his music represented. Their performances are a must-see for anyone who loves good country music.

Congratulations to Kikker Daddy Legacy on this incredible debut performance!
